Missionary Position - Film Teaser

The Missionary Position is the feature film I've been chipping away at for a couple years now. I wrote and directed, it was shot at the legendary Bloor Cinema in Toronto before it was renovated and modernized by HotDocs.

We're working on organizing a festival run, but here's a first sneak peak before it hits the big screen...

Trixie Dixon Concert at The Tranzac

This August 10th I'm doing a concert as Trixie Dixon with a full band at the Tranzac Club in the Annex, and you should come. We're doing a couple songs from the musical, as well as some country classics from the 1950's and 60's.

It's pay what you can, with the money going to covering the costs of the show and helping fund our next project, hopefully another full run of the show in early 2013.

You can find the facebook event page online here.

New Photos from Ecuador

I just got back from a whirlwind trip around beautiful Ecuador; I saw the amazon, the Andes and the notorious Galapagos islands. I've put some of the best photos on my flickr page, take a look and see if you can get a sense of the place.

Cigarettes For Christmas

Here is a music video I made last December; it's been wandering around online since the spring but this is the first time I've put it on my website and YouTube channel.

Trixie Dixon is the main character from my musical 'Daughter of the Dust' and here is one of her holiday hits, just in time for Christmas. If you haven't seen it yet, take a drag.

Trixie Dixon to sing at Steers & Queers

There's a great event held at the Dakota Tavern called Steers & Queers, which is a gay country and western themed party. I was invited to perform a few songs this month as Trixie Dixon, my character from the musical Daughter of the Dust.

It's happening this Thursday, November 10th (all the info is here). it should be a lot of fun; local theatre scene darlings Johnnie Walker and Morgan Norwich are hosting as rival Reba McEntire impersonators just to give you an idea about the type of night it's going to be. Grab some western gear and come on down.
